Meet Sophie, New Business Account Handler

Powered by a love of petrol-fuelled culture, Sophie Booth is our New Business Account Handler at Howden Classic Motor Trade. With five years in motor insurance and a lifetime spent in the company of engines and chrome, Sophie’s passion is anything but surface level.

Growing up with a dad immersed in the motor trade (now at Harley Davidson), Sophie’s weekends are often spent riding pillion, soaking up the thrill of two wheels and open roads. Her earliest obsession? The Fast & Furious franchise, where her love for JDM cars and culture truly ignited. Dream car? Easy - Nissan Skyline GTR R33, no questions asked.

Whether she’s admiring radical builds from Liberty Walk, RWB, or Singer, Sophie is constantly inspired by the individuality and finesse that define the classic car space. “There’s always something new to learn,” she says, “and the community brings such a wide spectrum of passionate people together.”

From traders to collectors, Sophie understands these machines are more than metal –- they’re legacies. And she’s proud to be part of the journey, helping protect them with tailored insurance and genuine enthusiasm.
