With more than 20 years at Howden and holding an ACII qualification, Steve has built extensive knowledge across all areas of private client insurance. His long history of in‑person client visits has given him a clear understanding of how people live with and protect their homes and possessions. Through hands‑on involvement, he sees exactly how cover works in practice, allowing him to offer informed, practical advice that genuinely protects clients.
Steve also leads the Private Client Risk Management proposition, developing guidance to help homeowners reduce risk, prevent common claims, and ensure their policy responds exactly as expected. His expertise covers escape of water, fire safety, security, flood resilience, valuations, and setting accurate sums insured.
